REPRESENTATION OF DATA/INFORMATION

There is base or radix that used distinct symbols for digit. Numbers are represented by a string digit symbols. For example Binary 0, 1 and base is 2. Decimal 0, 1, 2--9 and base is 10. Octal 0, 1, 2--7 and base is 8. Hexadeciamal 0, 1, 2--9, A, B, C, D, E, F and base is 16.

Binary Number System:- It is a number system which base or radix is only 2. As its name implies it supports only two numbers namely 0 and 1. Any value in this number system is represented like this (1000)2. Here base 2 shows that it is a Binary number system.

एक संख्या प्रणाली है जिसका आधार या मूलांक केवल 2 है। जैसा कि इसके नाम से पता चलता है कि यह केवल दो संख्याओं का समर्थन करता है, अर्थात् 0 और 1. इस संख्या प्रणाली में किसी भी मूल्य को इस तरह (1000) 2 दर्शाया गया है। यहां आधार 2 दर्शाता है कि यह एक बाइनरी नंबर सिस्टम है।

Here we will see some samples of Binary number of a certain Decimal number.

Octal Number System:-

This very number system uses eight digits, 0,1,2,3,4,5,6, and 7. It is also called base eight numbered system. Each position in an octal number represents a 0 power of the base (8), for e.g. 8*where x represents the last position-1.

इसी संख्या प्रणाली में आठ अंकों, 0,1,2,3,4,5,6, और 7 का उपयोग किया जाता है। इसे आधार आठ संख्या प्रणाली भी कहा जाता है। अष्टक संख्या में प्रत्येक स्थिति आधार (8) की 0 शक्ति का प्रतिनिधित्व करती है, उदाहरण के लिए। 8*जहाँ x अंतिम स्थिति -1 का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है।

Decimal Number System:- The number system that we use in our day-to-day life is the decimal number system. Decimal number system has base 10 as it uses 10 digits from 0 to 9. In decimal point represent units, tens, hundreds, thousands and so on. Each position represents a specific power of the base (10). For example, the decimal number 1234 consists of the digit 4 in the units position, 3 in the tens position, 2 in the hundred position, and 1 in the thousands position, and its value can be written as

हम अपने दैनिक जीवन में जिस संख्या प्रणाली का उपयोग करते हैं वह दशमलव संख्या प्रणाली है। दशमलव संख्या प्रणाली का आधार 10 होता है क्योंकि यह 0 से 9 तक 10 अंकों का उपयोग करता है। दशमलव बिंदु में इकाइयों, दहाई, सैकड़ों, हजारों आदि का प्रतिनिधित्व करते हैं। प्रत्येक स्थिति आधार (10) की एक विशिष्ट शक्ति का प्रतिनिधित्व करती है। उदाहरण के लिए, दशमलव संख्या 1234 में इकाई की स्थिति में अंक 4, दहाई की स्थिति में 3, सौ की स्थिति में 2 और हजारों की स्थिति में 1 होता है, और इसका मान इस प्रकार लिखा जा सकता है

Hexadecimal Number System:- Hexadecimal number system is a number system which has base(radix) is 16 ranging from 0 to 9 and up to from A to F means if write completely then it will be like this 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, A, B, C, D, E, F. A number of Hexadecimal number system is written like this (4A7)16 or 4A7(hex). Hexadecimal number is represented always in 4 bit each.

हेक्साडेसिमल संख्या प्रणाली एक संख्या प्रणाली है जिसका आधार (मूलांक) 16 है जो 0 से 9 तक है और ए से एफ तक का मतलब है कि अगर पूरी तरह से लिखा जाए तो यह इस तरह होगा 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 , 7, 8, 9, ए, बी, सी, डी, ई, एफ। कई हेक्साडेसिमल संख्या प्रणाली इस तरह लिखी जाती है (4A7)16 या 4A7(hex)। हेक्साडेसिमल संख्या को हमेशा 4 बिट प्रत्येक में दर्शाया जाता है।

Binary to Decimal:- We can convert a binary number to decimal number. As we see binary number has base 2 where as decimal number has base 10. The decimal number of a binary number can be obtained when each binary number will be multiplied with its positional value from the right the first right binary value has the positional value 2 digri and it will increase to 1 to the left respectively.

हम एक बाइनरी नंबर को दशमलव संख्या में बदल सकते हैं। जैसा कि हम देखते हैं कि बाइनरी नंबर का आधार 2 होता है, जहां दशमलव संख्या का आधार 10 होता है। एक बाइनरी नंबर की दशमलव संख्या तब प्राप्त की जा सकती है जब प्रत्येक बाइनरी नंबर को दाईं ओर से उसके स्थितीय मान से गुणा किया जाएगा, पहले दाएं बाइनरी मान में स्थितीय मान 2 होता है। डिगरी और यह क्रमशः बाईं ओर बढ़कर 1 हो जाएगा।

Decimal to Binary:- We can convert a decimal number to binary number dividing the decimal number by the radix or base of the binary number 2 repeatedly untill you get the dividation result whether 0 or 1 and we read or put the remainder values in each dividation in reverse order putting a base 2, that is the binary number of that decimal number.

for e.g. binary of this decimal number (25)10=?

read the remainder in reverse order to get the binary of this given decimal number. Hence the binary of (25)10 = (11001)2

हम एक दशमलव संख्या को द्विआधारी संख्या में परिवर्तित कर सकते हैं, दशमलव संख्या को मूलांक या द्विआधारी संख्या 2 के आधार से विभाजित करते हुए बार-बार जब तक आप विभाजन परिणाम प्राप्त नहीं करते हैं चाहे 0 या 1 हो और हम प्रत्येक विभाजन में शेष मानों को रिवर्स ऑर्डर में पढ़ते या डालते हैं। आधार 2, वह उस दशमलव संख्या की द्विआधारी संख्या है।

उदाहरण के लिए इस दशमलव संख्या का बाइनरी (25)10=?

इस दी गई दशमलव संख्या का बाइनरी प्राप्त करने के लिए शेष को उल्टे क्रम में पढ़ें। इसलिए (25)10 = (11001)2 . का बाइनरी

Hexadecimal to decimal:- We can convert a hexadecimal number to decimal. As we see decimal number has base 10 where as hexadecimal number has 16. The decimal number of a hexadecimal number can be obtained when each hexadecimal number will be multiplied with its positional value from the right. The first right binary value has the positional value 16 and it will increase to 1 to the left respectively.

हम एक हेक्साडेसिमल संख्या को दशमलव में बदल सकते हैं। जैसा कि हम देखते हैं कि दशमलव संख्या का आधार 10 होता है, जबकि हेक्साडेसिमल संख्या में 16 होता है। एक हेक्साडेसिमल संख्या की दशमलव संख्या तब प्राप्त की जा सकती है जब प्रत्येक हेक्साडेसिमल संख्या को दाईं ओर से उसके स्थितीय मान से गुणा किया जाएगा। पहले दाएँ बाइनरी मान में स्थितीय मान 16 है और यह क्रमशः बाईं ओर बढ़कर 1 हो जाएगा।

Hexadecimal to Binary:- As we studied earlier that in a hexadecimal number each digit is represented by 4 bitsso while converting a hexadecimal number to binary we need to represent binary of each digit of hexadecimal number in 4-4 bits.

जैसा कि हमने पहले अध्ययन किया था कि एक हेक्साडेसिमल संख्या में प्रत्येक अंक को 4 बिट्स द्वारा दर्शाया जाता है, इसलिए एक हेक्साडेसिमल संख्या को बाइनरी में परिवर्तित करते समय हमें हेक्साडेसिमल संख्या के प्रत्येक अंक के बाइनरी को 4-4 बिट्स में प्रस्तुत करने की आवश्यकता होती है।
