SOIL GENESIS AND FORMATION
चट्टानों एवं खनिजों का मृदा रूप में परिवर्तन ही मृदा निर्माण कहा जाता हैं। मृदा निर्माण चट्टानों एवं खनिजों के अपक्षय के साथ ही प्रारम्भ हो जाता हैं। अपक्षय क्रिया एक विनाशकारी क्रिया हैं लेकिन मृदा निर्माणक क्रिया एक संरचनात्मक क्रिया हैं। मृदा निर्माणक क्रिया को संक्षेप में निम्न प्रकार से प्रदर्शित किया जा सकता हैं।
मृदा निर्माण (Soil Formation):-
मृदा निर्माण में पहले सिलिकेट खनिज विभक्त होकर मृतिका (CLAY) निर्माण में सहायक होते हैं। जैविक पदार्थो द्धारा अपक्षय क्रिया कार्बनिक-रासायनिक एवं कार्बनिक-कोलायडी क्रिया हो जाती हैं जिससे कोलॉइड, मृतिका और कोलॉइड-ह्यूमस का निर्माण होता हैं जो तत्वों को निहित (ADSORBED) रखने में सहायक होते हैं।
In soil formation, the first silicate minerals are divided and are helpful in the construction of murtika (CLAY). The weathering action by organic matter becomes organic-chemical and organic-colloidal action, forming colloids, deadlines and colloid-humus which are helpful in keeping the elements contained (ADSORBED).
पैतृक पदर्थों के बनने एवं मृदा निर्माण क्रिया, दोनों, में एक ही क्रिया पुनः कार्य करती हैं। इस क्रिया द्धारा चट्टानों का टूट कर पैतृक पदार्थों में परिवर्तन और पुनः इससे मृदा का निर्माण एक साथ होता है। इस प्रकार भौतिक एवं कार्बनिक-रासायनिक क्रियाएं उस मिश्रित पदार्थ पर एक साथ कार्य करती हैं जो वास्तव में पैतृक पदार्थों से भिन्न होता हैं। इन क्रियाओं द्धारा मृदा परिच्छेदिका एवं मृदा संस्तर का निर्माण होता हैं। जैसे-जैसे इन दोनों में विभिन्नता बढ़ती जाती हैं वैसे-वैसे एक प्राकृतिक पदार्थ 'मृदा' का निर्माण होता जाता हैं।
Both the creation of ancestral positions and the construction of soil work again in the same action. By this action, the rocks are broken up and converted into the parent material and again the soil is formed together. In this way, physical and organic-chemical reactions work together on a compound that is actually different from the parent material. Through these actions, soil bed and soil bed are formed. As the variety increases in these two, a natural substance 'soil' is created.
मृदा गुणों का विस्तार (Expansion of soil properties):- प्राचीन युग में अपक्षयित खनिज पदार्थों का गुण उनके पैतृक पदार्थों के समान होता था क्योंकि उस समय परिच्छेदिका का निर्माण नहीं हुआ था।
Expansion of soil properties: - In ancient age, the properties of undesirable minerals were similar to their ancestral materials because the bedrock was not formed at that time.
जैसे-जैसे मृदा निर्माण में अपक्षय सहयोग देता गया और जैविक पदार्थ ऊपरी भागों में एकत्रित होते गए एक अपूर्ण मृदा बनती गयी। बहुत युगों के बाद धीरे-धीरे मृदा परिच्छेदिका का निर्माण हुआ जिसमें जैविक पदार्थों के अंश निहित थे तथा कार्बनिक और रासायनिक क्रियाये साथ-साथ होती रहती थी। समय बीतने के साथ-साथ धीरे-धीरे बाहरी शक्तियां मृदा निर्माण में योग देती गयी जिससे मृदा गुणों में परिवर्तन होता गया और एक पूर्ण मृदा परिच्छेदिका की उत्पति हुई जिसे परिपक्व मृदा (MATURE SOIL) कहा गया हैं।
As weathering aided in soil formation and organic matter accumulated in the upper parts, it became an imperfect soil. After many ages, a soil bed was gradually formed, which contained parts of organic matter and organic and chemical processes continued to occur simultaneously. With the passage of time, gradually external forces added to the soil formation, which led to a change in soil properties and the creation of a complete soil bed called MATURE SOIL.
लगातार मौसम में परिवर्तन के कारण परिपक्व या पूर्ण मृदा के गुणों में परिवर्तन आना स्वाभाविक हैं। इस दशा में बनी मृदा को निम्नीकृत मृदा (DEGRADED SOIL) कहतें हैं। प्रैरी घास के मैदान में जंगल का होना इसका धोतक उदाहरण हैं।
Changes in the properties of mature or complete soil are bound to change due to frequent weather changes. Soil made in this condition is called DEGRADED SOIL. The presence of forest in the prairie meadow is an example of this.
अपूर्ण या अपरिपक्व (INCOMPLETE or IMMATURE) मृदा वह हैं जिसे अपने वातावरण के अनुकूल होना हैं जबकि परिपक्व मृदा अपने वातावरण एवं जैविक गुणों के साथ पूर्ण स्थिर हैं और उनके संस्तरों में किसी भी प्रकार का भौतिक एवं रासायनिक परिवर्तन होना शेष नहीं हैं।
मृदा निर्माणक प्रक्रम (SOIL FORMING PROCESSES)
पैडोजैविक प्रक्रम (PEDOGEVIC PROCESSES):- चट्टानों तथा खनिजों के अपक्षय के बाद अपक्षयित खनिज अंश व मृत एवं जीवित जीवांश पदार्थ का विषमांग मिश्रण बनता हैं जो मृदा निर्माण हेतु कच्चा माल (RAW MATERIALS) होता हैं। इस अवस्था के पश्चात भी इस खनिज मिश्रण में परिवर्तन होते है जिनके फलस्वरूप आदर्श मृदा द्रव्य (IDEAL SOIL MASS) का निर्माण होता हैं। इस प्रकार "मृदा निर्माण, मृदा द्रव्य (पिण्ड) का उदभव हैं जो भूपपड़ी में होने वाले अनेक पेडोजैविक प्रक्रमों द्धारा सम्पन्न होता हैं।
PEDOGEVIC PROCESSES:- After weathering of rocks and minerals, a toxic mixture of weathering mineral content and dead and living bacterial material is formed which is a raw material for soil formation (RAW MATERIALS). Even after this stage, changes occur in this mineral mixture, which results in the formation of IDEAL SOIL MASS. In this way, "soil formation is the origin of soil substance (pinda), which is accomplished by many pedozoic processes occurring in Bhuppadi.
